Saturday 10/13
Registration: This event is included in the $59 Special Events Package of GMGC events
and you will be automatically included
in the foursome pairings. If you paid for the $59 Special Events Package
and you are NOT GOING TO PLAY in this event,

Pro Shop by Wednesday 10/10 for an entry fee of $20.
The complete pairing list will be available on Friday, October 12th on the
GMGC website and at the Pro Shop.
Format: The Step Away Scramble is very similar to a normal scramble with
one added twist.
The person that hit the shot that you decide to play does not hit the next
shot. That person steps away
for only the next shot.
Example: The foursome is Bob, John, Dave and Sam. All four players hit
drives. They decide to use Dave's drive.
Bob, John and Sam hit second shots from Dave's drive. Dave does not hit a
second shot. They decide
to use Sam's shot that landed on the green. Bob, John and Dave putt from
where Sam's shot ended up.
Sam does not putt. They decide to use Bob's putt. John, Dave and Sam putt.
All 4 players always tee off on all 18 holes. So you will always have 4
drives per hole, then only 3 attempts at the
remaining shots on that hole.
Always just remember - whoever hit the shot that you use - does not hit
the next shot.
Each player's tee shot in the foursome must be used at least 3 times
during the 18 holes.
